Poecilobothrus nobilitatus (Dolichopodidae): a new species for Portugal

Poecilobothrus nobilitatus belongs to the family of the long-legged flies, Dolichopodidae, and it's easily recognized by the white tips of its wings, which is a caracter only present in males who use it to court the females. This beautiful species can be found in damp places and it seems to be common where it occurs.
Here, in Portugal, we found it for the first time in Montesinho Natural Park (it was also the first time I visited the region).
